Professional Statement:

Dr. A. F. Paghdiwala has been perfecting his art for over three decades. Having graduated from the New Jersey Dental School in 1979, he has since become a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has received extensive training from Nobelbiocare and Imtec Corp in dental implants. He has consistently provided excellent service to the Philadelphia area and continues to do so in his three offices in Newtown, Levittown, and Frankford, PA.

Dr. Paghdiwala has been in private practice since 1979, and has served the Philadelphia area since 1981. He is proficient in all phases of general dentistry, and gives special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and implants. He has spent hours on continuing education and regularly attends courses to keep abreast with latest advances in dentistry.

He has also been a pioneer in the dental laser field. Way back in 1985, when lasers had not yet been introduced in dentistry, Dr. Paghdiwala was certified in laser surgery. He then received a National Institute of Health research grant for developing a laser dental drill, which led to his obtaining a US Patent in 1995. Dr. Paghdiwala has published several papers in dental journals and has spoken at seminars all over the country.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Philadelphia County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and the International College of Oral Implantologists of which he is a Fellow.

Dr. Paghdiwala’s wife Seema is the CEO of Pearl Dental Centers. They have three children: the eldest, a daughter, is a digital media editor. Their older son is in Dental College and the younger son, having graduated from college, works as the Development Coordinator of Pearl Dental Center.

His interests include fishing and traveling.
